Originally from England, I was educated in London and came to Toronto with my wife and two children in 1975. I have a professional background, as an entrepreneur, in the sectors of service and education. My interests include psychology, philosophy, spirituality, healing and meditation. The practice of meditation and yoga philosophy for over 20 years and the incorporation of the Buddhist approach to mindfulness and insight allow me to fully integrate my training as a psychotherapist.
While having been involved in my own process, I was fortunate enough to work with an excellent therapist. This therapeutic relationship enabled me to develop a deeper level of understanding, which has profoundly changed my life.
In 1986 I took the training as a psychotherapist at the The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy (CTP). After many years of experience in individual and group psychotherapy practice I consider myself to be a good listener.
I feel as human beings we are here for a purpose; however, along the way we have experiences that impede our personal growth; this will affect our ability to have meaningful lives and reach our full potential.
The aim in my practice is to create a safe environment in which to grow.
